Tuesday Retiree Ride 12/Moderate/35

About this event

Welcome to the Tuesday Retiree Ride

About this Ride

The Tuesday Retiree Ride will be a recurring ride primarily as road rides but occasionally on rail trails. Even though this ride is geared towards retirees, all are welcome to attend.

This ride is for moderate level riders who do not mind waiting at turns for others.  All riders should come expecting to WAIT AT TURNS AND AT THE TOP OF LARGE CLIMBS (announced by ride leader).  We wait at turns and major hills to re-group (for posted pace) until everyone has recovered.  We will adhere to this policy as long as slower riders are adhering to the "expected pace" referenced in the ride classification above.  Before registering for this ride, please review our ride classifications page to learn more about the ride classification indicated in the title of this ride.

About This Week's Route

THIS WEEK'S RIDE:

Distance:35
Rest Rooms: Start/End of ride and at numerous locations along the route
Water: Bring two water bottles as operational water fountains may not be available.

This ride cancels for rain. You will receive automatic emails of cancellations if you register in advance.

MEMBERS must register to attend this and all club rides. Click on "Member Login" in the right upper corner of your browser page to login. If this ride needs to be canceled, then those who registered will receive an email automatically, notifying them.  Please click the "Register Now" button to the right.  If you need to cancel your registration, use the cancel registration button or click here for instructions about how to do that so the ride leader knows to not expect you.

NON-MEMBER GUESTS must be referred to our Guest Concierge by using the link at the top of this page.  Guests are welcome to attend one of our regular weekly rides but additional rides and event rides require membership.  If a member wants to include a specific guest (i.e. family member or close friend) at one of our weekly local rides, the member is responsible for contacting the Ride Leader to discuss this ahead of time and the member is responsible for riding with their guest as part of the group.  Other than a close friend or family member of a current member, guests must be referred to our Guest Concierge.
